A quantitative numerical model for a reservoir located 7,700 feet below the sea level is developed using Schlumberger's Eclipse 300 Compositional Simulator. A reservoir model was constructed using a cartesian grid, which represented the actual field reservoir. History match, PVT studies, SCAL studies were developed using different modules in the Eclipse 300 simulator. Reserves were calculated using P/z analysis and were compared to that obtained from the Havlena Odeh method and were found to be in a close approximation. Relative permeability curves and capillary pressure curves were also plotted. |
