The purpose of this inquiry was to examine the use of scientific inquiry across curriculum in middle school and its impact on student learning. The study focuses on middle school students and their use of scientific inquiry outside of their science classes. Data were collected using surveys administered to teachers and students, as well as, observations of students using scientific inquiry. The data confirmed that student learning could benefit from the application of scientific inquiry across middle school curriculum.
