This study explored the effects of integrating iPad application 22Learn: Sight Words on four students with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. The purpose of this study was to determine if integrating an iPad application would positively impact academic achievement in sight word reading, generalization, and time-on-task. The intervention setting was a self-contained, middle and high school classroom. Data for this research was maintained through checklists and whole interval recording forms. The timeline of the study included 11 weeks, two weeks to gather baseline data and nine weeks to gather data based on intervention and withdrawal phases. |
