One is from Jorge Luis Borges and the other one from Leon Felipe. The thesis starts with a brief prologue and an introduction that talks about the author and the poem, and then I dedicate a chapter to each of them in which I discuss the type of translation, the simplification or not of the message, the translation of literary figures and the sexual ambiguity. A third chapter compares both translations in the areas mentioned above. The section dedicated to the conclusions collects the main ideas developed in the previous sections and completes the underlying theory of the whole work. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Leon felipe | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
