Felipe Ehrenberg combines multiple creative capacities to affect change in the world around him. The artist often makes use of narratives of historical and contemporary events. He works in-between and across a diverse range of artistic medias to diagnose the most innovative aesthetic formulas for his critical revisions. I examine this continuing thread in his political practice by analyzing an early mail art project, an installation exhibition and a performance, three artistic strategies that he has employed in his dynamic career. This thesis analyzes the artist's writings and incorporates authors from the fields of Latin American and contemporary art to contextualize Ehrenberg's socially engaged art within the postmodern period.
