Abstract/Summary:
Research within the area of Central Auditory Processing disorder has been growing. This disorder still is a controversial subject within professional opinions. However, it has been suggested that there is a relationship between Central Auditory Processing and visual cues. This study will compare the performance of individuals on a CAPD screening test to their ability to perform on a comprehension tasks based on two sets of instructions, one presented verbally and the other presented written in paragraph form. The results will be compared to determine the relationship between basic auditory processing and visual versus auditory instructions.
