| This thesis is about the presence of water on Mars, and the physical changes that water is working on the surface. Experiments were done in a laboratory setting that reliably produced gullies that showed certain morphological similarities to the gullies being found on the martian surface. The lab-produced gullies had quantifiable parameters that can be measured. Measurements from such gullies can be used to determine some of the conditions the martian gullies are formed in. |
