Abstract/Summary:
A great deal of interest has been shown in the literature for development of new non destructive techniques and particular there is increasing interest in determining crack detection, the size of the crack, location of the crack and also the source of causing crack. In order to get something in these problems, both time domain and frequency domain analysis have been used in the literature to address these types of problems. In this thesis, I propound intelligent techniques like fuzzy logic using MATLAB to determine the presence of crack, the size of the crack, the location of the crack and also the source of causing crack. These cracks may be due to different types of impacts.;For analysis of crack, both time domain and frequency domain techniques were discussed. Time domain approach and techniques are taken into consideration when our intent is to find out the source of causing crack that arises due to impact of different materials/bullets. Frequency domain approach is used when the intent is to observe the presence of crack, size of crack and the location of the crack. Because of the gravity of this riddle it is prominent to go for VLSI designing in such a way that all the factors required from the cracks analysis can be determined in real time environment.;This integrated designing and development for this problem has been illustrated in the form of VLSI implementation and/or other digital circuit's i.e. High voltage speed comparator and pipeline in the literature. Although pipeline is not direct significance in the analysis of crack but it is illustrated herein so as to subsidize the reader in understanding the procedure for VLSI implementation. This will help to establish an algorithm which could detect the presence of crack and its other features. It also gave a procedure in a way that an enhance designing could be developed. The steps of VLSI designing specially for crack detection problem are highlighted. The new definitions proposed for analysis crack are developed in fuzzy that can be metric for measurement of the crack. The problem is of utmost important and having large number of applications.;It is hoped that this research will open a way to develop new challenging algorithms in order to handle large fuzzy systems for imprecise and uncertain data.
