York Redoubt, located at the entrance to Nova Scotia's Halifax Harbour, is both the place of research and a testing ground. Its steep coastal topography and military narrative are the major drivers for a proposed pilot project of four shelters and a gathering place. Each element reinterprets existing landscape strategies, and together they propose a new layer of use for York Redoubt. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Landscape, York redoubt | | Related items |
