Research On The Influence Of Financial Development In The Yangtze River Delta On The Upgrading Of Industrial Structure

The Yangtze river delta is one of the regions with the most dynamic economic development and the strongest innovation capacity in China.It is at the forefront of reform and opening up.In 2018,the Yangtze river delta Regional Integration was improved to a national strategy.Including the government,industry and other fields have introduced relevant policies and measures.The Yangtze river delta regional integration is going to speed up the functional reconstruction,strengthen the system innovation,optimize the business environment.With the construction of modern industry value chain,the international innovation center and talent highland,the Yangtze river delta is hoped to be a world-class open urban agglomeration,which will help enhance the national strength of our country.This dissertation focuses on the influence of financial development on the upgrading of industrial structure.Economy is a comprehensive reflection of a country's competitiveness.Industry is an important carrier to promote economic development,and finance provides financial support for economic development.These three factors are important components of development.From these indicators,the comprehensive development level of the Yangtze river delta region is relatively high,but development difference among cities in the region still exists.The speed of industrial transformation and upgrading is inconsistent.It not only forms the development characteristics of different provinces,but also creates the problems of regional industry isomorphism and industrial hollowness.The situation of the unbalance of financial resource distribution is serious.Some provinces are short of bank money supply,where the ability of capital allocation and diversification,sinking layout of financial institutions and financial service is also weak.As a whole,the influence of financial development in the Yangtze river delta area on industrial upgrading is different.After reviewing the previous research results,through the analysis of historical data,it shows the current situation and existing problems of the influence of regional financial development on industrial upgrading.Taking 2007 as the starting point of the review,it uses 11 years of regional economic data of all 41 cities in the Yangtze river delta as the main objects of observation.This dissertation explores the relationship between industrial structure upgrading and financial development,fiscal expenditure,investment scale,consumption level,openness,education level,transportation capacity and other factors.Through analysis,it is found that there are the following relationships.First,financial development was the most important factor which influenced the upgrading of industry,while the influences of investment scale,government expenditure and consumption level variables were positive.Second,in terms of financial development and other variables among cities in the Yangtze river delta region,the sustainability factor of the development of this city was greater than the correlation factor generated by inter-city cooperation,and there was still much to be done in inter-city complementary cooperation.Last but not least,in this triangle area,the influence of financial development where financial development level was relatively backward,especially the uncentral city,was bigger.The influence of the financial support descended as the ascension of financial development level.In turn,such as government spending,consumption,import and export played more roles.The formation of intra-regional capital flows and financial cooperation would improve the influence of financial support on industrial upgrading.On the basis of these conclusions and the perspective of New Structural Economics,the dissertation gives more consideration to the development of the financial support industry.The dissertation also puts forward some suggestions from the national and regional levels,the financial industry,especially the banking industry.
