With the advent of the era of "mass innovation and entrepreneurship",the society has entered a wave of self-employment.Due to the characteristics of tourism,such as flexibility,diversity,relatively low accessibility,strong dependence and facilitation,tourism has become one of the preferred industries for entrepreneurs.The form of small and micro tourism enterprises creates a "employment transition path" for the grassroots to gradually become entrepreneurs,and also makes an important contribution to the growth of national economy and the increase of job opportunities.In small tourism enterprises,entrepreneurs occupy a core position.The growth of enterprises often depends on whether the entrepreneurs have the aspiration to grow.Based on this,this paper focuses on small tourism enterprises and discusses the growth aspiration of small tourism entrepreneurs.The growth aspiration of entrepreneurs is influenced by both internal and external factors.Entrepreneurial human capital is an important condition for entrepreneurs to successfully carry out business activities.As a core dimension of human capital,this study believes that entrepreneurs' competencies has an important impact on entrepreneurs' willingness to grow.Whether an entrepreneur chooses to grow and develop his business is directly related to his ability.In the Chinese context,relationship,as the main expression of social capital,also plays a unique role in this process.Therefore,this paper constructs a conceptual model of entrepreneurs' competencies,self-efficacy,entrepreneur relationship and entrepreneur's growth aspiration.After that,empirical research was carried out through field investigation and questionnaire collection of small tourism enterprises,and 371 questionnaires were finally collected.SPSS and AMOS were used to analyze the data and test the conceptual model.The results showed:(1)The competencies of tourism small entrepreneurs has a significant positive impact on the growth aspiration of tourism small entrepreneurs.The higher the competencies of tourism small entrepreneurs,the stronger the growth aspiration.(2)Tourism small entrepreneurs' competencies has a significant positive effect on self-efficacy.The higher the tourism small entrepreneurs' competencies,the stronger the self-efficacy.(3)The sense of self-efficacy mediates the influence of the competencies of small tourism entrepreneurs on their growth aspiration.The higher the competencies of small tourism entrepreneurs is,the stronger their self-efficacy will be,and the stronger their growth aspiration will be.(4)Entrepreneur relationship moderates the influence of tourism small entrepreneurs' competencies on self-efficacy,that is,under the high level of managerial ties,tourism smallentrepreneurs' competencies has more significant influence on self-efficacy.This study emphasizes the important role of the growth aspiration of tourism small entrepreneurs,discusses the influencing factors of the growth aspiration of entrepreneurs,and provides theoretical guidance and suggestions for the relevant policy making and the development of tourism small entrepreneurs.
