Research On The Organizational Structure And Operating Mechanism Of Amoeba's Management Model

With the increasingly fierce market competition,the traditional hierarchical organization can no longer adapt to the complex and changeable external environment.The organizations of Amoeba's Management Model has become the new favorite of The Times because of its quick response and dynamic adaptability.Existing studies on Amoeba's Management Model focus on describe its organizational effectiveness from a static perspective and theorize about how to construct an Amoeba organization.However,It neglects to explore the essential components of this kind of organization and the relationship between them,and finally fails to show the overall picture of the internal operation of the organization.This paper takes “K” company,which has successfully introduced Amoeba's Management Model,as a case enterprise to fully collect primary and secondary data.Through the analysis method of grounded theory,95 concepts,35 sub-categories,9 main categories and 1 core category are finally extracted.Finally,the organizational structure and operating mechanism of Amoeba's Management Model are extracted.The research found that:(1)the Amoeba organizational structure and its operating mechanism are composed of 9 elements,of which 2 are defined as: platform,team;The five interrelated elements are: internal transaction,objective control flow,operational decision-making flow,conflict coordination flow,and information disclosure flow.The two mechanism elements are: match power,responsibility and interest,business philosophy;(2)Amoeba's organizational structure presents a flexible platform & team structure,and the organization is in constant adjustment with the change of internal and external environment;(3)The Amoeba's organization operating mechanism runs from the inside to the outside in accordance with the dynamic mechanism,objective mechanism,constraint mechanism and support mechanism.And is constantly influenced by the field of business philosophy.This research further enrich the theories related to organizational structure and organization operating mechanism,and also provide some references for enterprises to import Amoeba's Management Model.
