Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,Internet plus has risen as an important national strategy.The various integration of the Internet and industry has become a national issue that the whole society has paid close attention to.The development of the Internet can make the economic behavior of the traditional enterprises socially adaptive,that is,adaptive to the various networks of relationships which has established with external organizations.Through the Internet,traditional enterprises can obtain the required information,knowledge and funds quickly.Traditional enterprises continue to expand the breadth of information and knowledge exchanges through the Internet,so that the mechanism of information sharing is continuously strengthened in the enterprise,and then help the traditional enterprises to absorb and internalize the external knowledge,improving the efficiency of technological transformation,which can continuously improve innovative capabilities and performance of traditional enterprises.This article studies the impact of the Internet on industrial innovation from the perspective of innovation performance.On the one hand,it provides empirical supplements for this topic,on the other hand,it provides more effective implementations of the "Internet plus" national strategy in traditional enterprises.Firstly,this article combs the existing research of domestic and foreign scholars on the topic of Internet and industrial innovation performance,and then systematically describes and analyzes the development status of Internet and industry.Based on this analysis,this article focuses on product innovation,marketing innovation,and organizational innovation to explore the impact of Internet on industrial innovation performance.The results of theoretical analysis show that the Internet has opened the boundaries between individuals through its open and shared characteristics,enabling them to form an open and effective resource and information sharing platform.Therefore,individuals can get timely communication and feedback,and promote scientific research and the transformation of the scientific elements,also the improvement of operating efficiency in sales and organization,which can improve the overall innovation level of the enterprise from three dimensions: industrial product innovation,marketing innovation and organizational innovation.Theoretical analysis shows that the Internet pushes marketing demand to the production link through user thinking,big data thinking and industrial chain thinking,and then promotes industrial product innovation;the Internet reduces commission fees and advertising through the development of ecommerce platforms,innovative business models and branding construction to promote marketing innovation;the Internet reduces the growth in management costs through transformation management models,innovative organizational models,and talent training models,and then promote organizational innovation.Empirical research shows that the Internet has a significant positive promotion effect on industrial product innovation,marketing innovation,and organizational innovation.Robustness tests and endogenous analysis show that the conclusion is robust.The analysis of regional differences shows that there is regional heterogeneity in the impact of the Internet on the innovation performance of industrial products: the eastern region has the strongest while the central region has the second and the western region has the weakest.The Internet’s role in promoting industrial market innovation and industrial organization innovation has not shown significant regional differences.The analysis of regulatory effects shows that the use of the Internet has important regulatory effects in the process of affecting innovation output.This regulatory effect is evident in product innovation and organizational innovation,and weak in marketing innovation.
