The ultimate goal of mankind is to pursue happiness.Since the reform and opening up in 1978,China's economy has continued to grow and has now become the world's second largest economy.Although China's overall national strength ranks third in the world,the national happiness index is not high.In the "Global Happiness Report" released by the United Nations,China's happiness ranking continues to decline,ranking only 93 in 2019 and even falling 7 places from 2018.Work is a vital part of most people's lives,and employees generally do not feel happy at work.Professor Peterson,a psychologist at the University of Michigan in the United States,conducted a survey on job well-being in industrial countries.The results show that Chinese employees have the lowest well-being.Obviously,the improvement of the quality of life has not effectively improved the problems in employee well-being.On the contrary,many employees are under great working pressure due to fierce market competition.In view of this,this study starts from the perspective of stressors to explore the mechanism of challenge stressors on employee well-being.This study focuses on the theoretical and empirical research on the influence mechanism of challenge stressors on employee well-being.Through literature review,this paper summarizes and sorts out challenge stressors,employee well-being,servant leadership and trait gratitude,and puts forward the theoretical framework on this basis.Then,taking employees as the sample,251 valid questionnaires were collected through online and offline questionnaires.Spss23.0 and Amos22.0 data analysis software were used to verify the theoretical framework and research assumptions of this study by reliability and validity analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,multi-layer regression analysis and other methods.This study found that:(1)Challenge stressors have a positive impact on employee well-being;(2)Servant leadership can positively regulate the relationship between challenge stressors and employee well-being;(3)Trait gratitude positively regulates the relationship between challenge stressors and employee well-being.When individual trait gratitude is higher,challenge stressors has a stronger positive impact on employee well-being;(4)Challenge stressors,servant leadership and trait gratitude have a significant triple interaction on employee well-being.With the improvement of gratitude,servant leadership has a stronger positive moderating effect on the relationship between challenge stressors and employee well-being.Finally,this study focuses on the employees of enterprises,enriches the theoretical research in the field of servant leadership and employee well-being,and puts forward suggestions on stress management and effective improvement of employee well-being based on the research conclusion of questionnaire survey.At the same time,this paper also points out the shortcomings in the research process,and further puts forward the future prospects,in order to further fill the theoretical gaps in the field of employee well-being in the future.
