The Study On The Influencing Factors Of China’s Undertaking Service Outsourcing From Southeast Asian Nations

Since the launch of the “Belt and Road” Initiative,the scale of China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations has increased in the rapid growth,and it has become increasingly important in China’s offshore service outsourcing market.In 2017,the Ministry of Commerce and other five departments issued the “13th Five-Year Plan” for the Development of International Service Outsourcing Industry.The goal is,by 2020,Chinese enterprises will undertake offshore service outsourcing contracts with an execution amount over 100 billion dollars.Therefore,undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asian Nations,as one of the most important growth points of China’s offshore service outsourcing industry,will have important strategic significance for achieving the goal of China’s offshore service outsourcing industry in the future.This paper studies the influencing factors of China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations,by using research method of a combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Firstly,based on factor endowment theory,transaction cost theory,internalization theory and literature research results,select the factors that may affect China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations,establish a selecting framework for influencing factors,then conduct comparative analysis with the largest undertaking country in the global offshore service outsourcing market.Next,in the quantitative analysis,this paper firstly uses the EG two-step method in the cointegration test method to analyze the long-term cointegration relationship between the total scale of China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations and the influencing factors.The results show that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between the total scale of China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations and the openness of service industry,human resources quality,IT infrastructure level and foreign direct investment.After that,based on the VAR model,this paper analyzes the dynamic relationship between the total scale of China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations and influencing factors by using impulse response function and variance decomposition.It reveals the response characteristics of the total scale of China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations to the short-term disturbance of different influencing factors,and the structural impact of different variables on contribution to the total scale of China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations,reflecting the importance of structural impact of different influencing factors.The results of quantitative analysis show that the serviceindustry’s openness,human resources quality,IT infrastructure level and foreign direct investment have a positive impact on the total scale of China’s undertaking service outsourcing from Southeast Asia Nations.
