Study On The Influence Of The Development Of Producer Services Trade On The Global Value Chain Status Of Manufacturing Industry

In the context of the development and deepening of global trade,the global value chain system is constantly decomposed and integrated among various countries and regions,and enterprises are increasingly fierce in the competition for higher added value,then the continuous refinement of international division of labor provides more opportunities for the development of enterprises.At present,China’s external economy is developing continuously,and the service industry,based on its own development characteristics,is rapidly driving the growth of the national economy and gradually becoming a new driving force for further economic development.Producer services,in particular,as an intermediary mechanism connecting production and consumption,constantly absorb the advanced R&D technologies and efficient management experience of foreign enterprises,and bring new hope for the transformation and upgrading of domestic manufacturing industry through the internal transmission mechanism with the development of manufacturing industry.The economic development of Jiangxi province is not as good as that of coastal developed cities in China,and the development of manufacturing industry is at the low and middle level,which is also an important factor.Under the current background,it is necessary to make better use of various opportunities brought by the development of service trade,open up new ideas of manufacturing industry development,and gradually catch up with the development pace of coastal developed cities.Based on the domestic and foreign literature,study on specialization effect,optimize cost effect,technology and knowledge innovation effect,value added capacity improvement effect and industrial agglomeration effect of the five different mechanism,in order to construct the theoretical connection of the producer services trade to promote the manufacturing status of global value chain.On the review and summary of measure index,based on manufacturing exports complexity index to measure the manufacturing status of global value chain of Jiangxi province,at the same time,use producer service import and producer service FDI penetration as indexes,respectively to measure the import dependence of manufacturing industry on producer services and the penetration of producer services into manufacturing in Jiangxi province.In a review and summary of study on influencing factors of manufacturing upgrading in global value chain,this article selects manufacturing human capital,manufacturing fixed asset investment,manufacturing enterprise scale and degree of nationalization of manufacturing industryas control variable,has carried on the empirical analysis on the relationship between the development of producer services trade and the status of manufacturing in the global value chain of Jiangxi province.In this paper,empirical results show that Jiangxi producer services import and the manufacturing status in the global value chain have a significant positive correlation,and the producer service FDI has significant negative effect,take the proportion of FDI in the producer services instead,a further robustness test was conducted found that the producer service FDI has no significant effect on the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing.Empirical study from the view of manufacturing of different types,the effect of the same factors on the manufacturing of different types in the globe chain is different,in which the human capital has obvious promoting effect on the transformation and upgrading of labor-intensive manufacturing industry,and the enterprise scale and technology-intensive manufacturing industries have a significant positive correlation,fixed asset investment and the degree of industry nationalization have no significant effect on the manufacturing status in the global value chain.The producer service FDI and the degree of industry nationalization have the same effect on the status of manufacturing industry of different types in the global value chain,this paper puts forward two countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of the overall development of manufacturing industry: Increase technical investment by foreign investors;Reduce government intervention to unleash market vitality.Manufacturing industry of different types have different influencing factors,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of manufacturing industry of different types.(1)Labor-intensive manufacturing: Further ease the trade restrictions on producer services;Strengthen the integration of production,learning,research and application.(2)Capital-intensive manufacturing: To strengthen the study of other manufacturing industries;The establishment of a cooperation alliance platform among manufacturing industries.(3)Technology-intensive manufacturing: Go deep into foreign projects to achieve scale expansion;The government regulates the flow of R&D funds;Innovate the training mechanism of foreign professionals.
