Research On The Influencing Factors And Path Of China's Manufacturing Upgrading Based On GVC

With the Shortage of resources in developed countries and the need of vertical specialization,the global production network based on comparative advantage theory has led to the rapid development of GVC and the specialization of international industrial division,the links between different countries is increasingly close through different GVC.With the comparative advantage of low labor cost and abundant resources,China's manufacturing industry has participated in the international division system through the global industrial value chain,And the division of labor within the industry and products is becoming more refined and specialized.Due to the differences in the basis of comparative advantage,the position of division of labor in the value chain is also different,different positions in the GVC determines different benefits.Due to the lack of R&D and brand marketing capabilities,the position of China's manufacturing industry in the GVC just lie in the low value-added processing and manufacturing sectors.In addition,in recent years,due to the technology export blockade imposed by the United States on China and the rise of emerging economies in Southeast Asia,it is very urgent for China's manufacturing industry to enhance and maintain its development sustainability and international competitiveness through transformation and upgrading,The main difficulties theoretical and practical circles are facing are the influencing factors and paths of upgrading.In view of exploring the path of transformation and upgrading from the perspective of value chain,This paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of China's manufacturing industry by combing the relevant research literature of GVC theory and manufacturing industry upgrading theory,and then studies the influencing factors of China's manufacturing industry upgrading by constructing GVC participation index,position index and competitiveness index,this paper discusses the main influencing factors and the path of transformation and upgrading.The main content of this paper can be divided into the following parts:(1)Introduction.This section briefly illustrate The research
