At present, there are many kinds of existing foods in China, and the product attributes and composition are complex. In order to effectively manage the existing foods, the relevant national departments have formulated a series of standards for classification management, resulting in a food classification system. The food classification system can not only help government departments to effectively supervise food, provide guidance for production, retail and innovation of food-related enterprises, but also provide nutrition and purchase guidelines for ordinary consumers. However, when formulating the current food classification system in China,it is mainly oriented to production technology links, and the classification information is more professional and complex. For manufacturers and professional technicians, the implementation errors are reduced. However, the consumer-friendliness is very low, resulting in consumers often unable to buy the expected food because of wrong classification, resulting in a waste of time and energy. The main solutions to this problem include education of food classification systems for consumers and optimization of the current food classification system for consumer awareness. The former method is difficult to realize because consumers have all kinds of information because of the variety of information on the existing food types and classification systems. In this paper,we adopt the second solution, follow the psychological laws of consumer cognition and recall, and optimize the design of the existing food classification system,so that the classification system is easier for consumers to understand and use,and help consumers implement correct Food purchasing behavior. The composition of the food classification system is mainly composed of two parts: the name of the classification and the corresponding explanatory information. Therefore, the optimization of the classification system needs to be carried out at the same time. For whether the optimized classification system is more understandable and acceptable by consumers than the original system,a common method is to investigate consumers' recall and cognitive ability of the classification system through comparative experiments, where recall means that consumers have no outside world The process of retrieving relevant classification information from the brain under the condition of stimulation, while cognition is to identify the classification information of the corresponding food with the help of some auxiliary stimuli. The higher the accuracy of consumers' recall and cognition of a certain type of classification system, indicating that this classification system is easier to understand and remember, and is superior to other forms of classification systems. At the same time, consumers' prior knowledge is different, which will have a certain impact on the recall and cognitive process. In the comparative experiment process,it needs to be considered and controlled. This article is guided by the theory of cognitive psychology and adopts research methods such as comparative experiments. It mainly carries out two parts of research: one is to optimize the current classification system;the other is to verify the consumer cognitive effect of the classification system before and after optimization. In the process of optimizing the food classification system, through three preliminary experiments, the specific experimental objects(orange juice and orange juice drink)of this study, what kind of explanatory information(colloquial description sentence)was used, and which heuristics were added to the classification name Elements(images, colors and numbers),determine the length of the name(long and short)* heuristic elements(images, colors),that is,2 * 2 four possible optimization schemes, the explanatory information is unified and optimized to be more colloquially described Statement. On this basis, the optimized four schemes are compared with the classification system in the current national standard, and they are divided into five groups. The Marano-Marcolini and Torres-Ruiz models are used to conduct comparative experiments. The classification types and quality grades of orange juice and orange juice beverages are sequentially recalled and recognized, and four judgment indicators are formed. The final scores of these indicators are analyzed. This study found that the combination of long category names and images is the easiest for consumers to understand and remember, and the spoken interpretation information is also better than the current professional interpretation information. The research ideas, comparative test methods and main conclusions of this article have important reference and reference value for the policy formulation and marketing practice of management departments and manufacturers.
