With the gradual refinement of the global industrial chain division, the status of intellectual property rights protection in international trade has become increasingly prominent. There are two main characteristics of intellectual property rights protection: Firstly, for the domestic society, the intellectual property rights protection mainly enhances the country's international competitiveness by promoting independent innovation, improving enterprise productivity and import substitution;Secondly, for the international community, the intellectual property rights protection is mainly aimed at building a secure intellectual property environment, protecting foreign product technologies from being randomly imitated by domestic enterprises, attracting a wider range of international trade and foreign investment, and improving the country's international status.Intellectual property rights are not only a civil right, but also an intangible product that can bring economic benefits. It has a profound impact on international trade by affecting independent innovation capability, export trade structure, and international trade environment.Since joining the WTO in 2001,surpassing the United States in 2012 to become the world's largest trading nation, and now deeply involved in the global value chain division,China's international trade has made great achievements. However,in the context of the sluggish world market and the weak global economy,China's export trade has fallen into a bottleneck, and the reform of export trade structure has had little effect, the emerging markets in the “Belt and Road” strategy have hidden potential, and trade between China and developing countries remains to be discovered. In the face of an increasingly mature intellectual property rights protection system in the international community, how can Chinese export companies participate in international competition?Does the perfect international intellectual rights property protection system have a significant impact on China's export trade? What effect does it have? Can China use this to find new foreign trade growth points? It is the focus of China's participation in international trade. Therefore,it is of far-reaching significance to study the impact of intellectual property rights in the Target Country on China's export trade. The combination of theoretical research and empirical analysis are used to explore the research topic. In terms of theoretical research, the status quo of China's export trade and the intellectual property rights protection systems of countries around the world are analyzed, provides theoretical support and data support for the empirical analysis of the following texts; Then, relying on the theory of product supply and demand balance, the intellectual property rights protection affect the product supply and demand,to further analyze the three major effects, namely Market Expansion Effect,Market Power Effect and Export Cost Reduction Effect are analyzed, proposing the theoretical hypothesis after the comprehensive analysis. In terms of empirical analysis,an extended gravity model is adopted to incorporate intellectual property protection level as a core explanatory variable into the model, using China's export trade data for 132 countries from 2008 to 2017,and use two-stage least squares(2SLS)estimation.The empirical regression is carried out on the overall national sample data, the country-specific sample data according to the difference in national income level, the sample data of the industry according to the factor-intensive differentiation, and the sample data of the industry differences in different countries, then analyzes the results. Finally,it summarizes the conclusions and provides necessary countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the development of the international social protection system, improving China's export trade scale and enhancing China's international status.Through the research,it is proved that strengthening the intellectual property protection of the destination country has a significant role in promoting China's export trade. At the same time, different countries with different economic development levels and different factor-intensive industries have different sensitivity to intellectual property protection. Therefore,China should conform to the trend of international intellectual property rights protection development, strengthen its own independent research capabilities, improve the level of science and technology, and constantly optimize the structure of trade industry, with a view to enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese products in international trade and enhancing China's international status.
