The spread of the “African swine fever” epidemic nationwide and the plummeting price of pork caused by it have revealed the weakness of China 's pig breeding and slaughtering and pork product quality and safety control system and the fragility of the pork industry chain.The pork quality safety control and the high-quality development of the pork industry are two major livelihood issues.As an effective means to improve the transparency of the supply chain and ensure product quality and safety,traceability has aroused widespread concern in academia and industry.At present,the pork traceability in our country is developing from single-stage traceability and paper traceability to full-life cycle traceability and informatization traceability.However,there are still problems such as the high cost of traceability system construction and the difficulty of ensuring the authenticity of traceability information.With the widespread application of mobile Internet and two-dimensional code technology,this paper attempts to explore its application in the field of pork traceability,and through the application of technology,it promotes the optimization of business processes in pork supply chain management and effective management of quality and safety.This paper is guided by information asymmetry theory,supply chain management theory,and traceability theory.Firstly,using literature surveys and field surveys to conduct an in-depth investigation of the current status of business processes in China's pork supply chain,to explore the difficulties of pork traceability in the past and the pork supply chain's needs for pork traceability;Then,using a combination of theory and technology,comprehensive application of two-dimensional code technology and mobile Internet and other information methods to design pork information traceability business and research pork information traceability method and overall solution;Finally,in order to verify its feasibility and advancement,a case study is conducted.Relying on the pork traceability informatization project of Jilin Province Animal Husbandry Bureau and the former Jilin Food and Drug Administration,the pork supply chain informatization traceability method of this paper is applied to the pork quality safety traceability and supervision system construction work in Jilin.The case study results show that compared with the traditional traceability solutions,the pork traceability method in this paper greatly reduces the investment cost of the main body of the pork supply chain.Government regulators,consumers,and pork retailers can obtain complete,authoritative and trusted pork quality and safety information.This paper uses information technology to cover the pork supply chain from farm to table,and builds an informatization traceability method and technical solution.It has a strong theoretical innovation.And it has strong theoretical guiding significance for pork supply chain management,the pork quality safety control,and the construction of traceability system.In a practical sense,at present,local governments at all levels and industry leaders in China have a strong urgency to establish a traceability system.There is an urgent need to have a technical solution that can realize full coverage,low costs,low operational complexity,and high reliability of traceability information.The research results of this paper can respond to the above need.At the same time,it also provides examples for the construction of traceability system for other breeds of livestock products.Pork and other livestock breeds,such as beef and mutton,have strong similarities throughout the supply chain.The results of this paper will help the construction of other animal product informatization traceability systems.
