With the rapid development of information technology, higher requirements have been put forward for the supporting information infrastructure. And the level of information infrastructure construction has gradually become an important driving force for economic growth. In addition, the rapid changes in the international situation are a huge test for China's ability of independent innovation and national security. At the time of the transformation of old and new kinetic energy in china and under the international situation, how to use information infrastructure to cultivate new dynamics of innovation is of great practical significance to China's future economic transformation and upgrading. At present, there is no unified conclusion in the academic research. Some think that information infrastructure will promote economic growth, and some will show "U" or "inverted U" growth path through empirical evidence. To sum up,the research on the impact of information infrastructure construction on China's economic growth has certain practical significance and research value.Unlike other economic variables, information infrastructure is not only market behavior, but closely related to national policies. And it has the characteristics of huge investment, long cycle and slow effectiveness. So in different stages of development, what is the relationship between information infrastructure construction and economic growth in China? How does information infrastructure promote economic growth? Will there be regional differences? In the view, this paper is divided into three parts.Firstly, based on relevant theories, the paper explores the mechanism of the impact of information infrastructure on economic growth;secondly, the paper sorts the provincial data of information infrastructure and economic growth from 2005 to 2016,and studies the current situation and problems of the development by using the relevant tools such as line chart and table;thirdly, the panel model is used to conduct empirical research on the research issues. In this paper, based on the previous studies on the relevant issues and the analysis of the mechanism of action,we choose the length of long-distance optical cable, per capita GDP,material capital investment, human capital investment, foreign direct investment and other variables, and use Stata15 measurement software to conduct empirical research on the data of provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions from 2005 to 2016.On this basis, this paper makes an empirical study on the contribution and difference of information infrastructure in three regions to economic growth in China.Based on the research of this paper,we can draw the following conclusions: information infrastructure construction has a significant positive role in promoting China's economic growth.Based on panel data,it shows that information infrastructure has a great contribution to the economic growth of all regions in the country, but the level of information infrastructure development and its contribution to the economic growth of different regions are different. In the western underdeveloped areas, the role of information infrastructure development in promoting economic growth is higher than that in the central and eastern areas.
