Logistics industry is a comprehensive service industry that integrates transportation, warehousing, processing, distribution, information and other functions, and its development and evolution are closely related to the macroeconomic development situation, which is the basic, leading and strategic industry of China's economic operation.Since the 1990 s,the deepening of economic globalization and regional economic integration has greatly enhanced the links between countries, regions, enterprises, individuals and other economic subjects, and the link between logistics industry has become increasingly prominent, gradually becoming a recognized economic development "accelerator".With this, exploring the impact of logistics industry development on regional economic growth has gradually become a hot topic worth studying in academia.China's eight ethnic provinces(regions)are large and material, but the overall development is relatively backward, the development of logistics industry is an opportunity for the development of eight ethnic provinces(regions). From qualitative and quantitative aspects,a comparative study of the impact of the logistics industry in eight ethnic provinces(regions)on economic growth will not only help us to understand the role and differences in the economic development of the eight ethnic provinces(regions),but also provide a favorable reference in the formulation of regional coordinated development strategies.Based on the theories of external economic effects, spillover effects and economic growth of the logistics industry, and after studying and referring to the existing relevant documents, the research in this paper has preliminarily understood the important role of the logistics industry in the current economic and social development process.By using the method of statistical analysis, this paper compares and analyzes the current situation, potential connections and differences between the logistics industry and economic development of the eight ethnic provinces(regions)from various aspects of their logistics development and economic development. On this basis, selecting the relevant data from 1999 to 2017,the added value of the logistics industry in the eight ethnic provinces(regions)is introduced into Cobb Douglas(C-D)production function, and the relevant model is constructed.Using Eviews10.0 software, after the data model is tested for stability and cointegration, and it is determined that the model is correct and meaningful, the specific results of theimpact of logistics industry on economic growth in eight ethnic provinces(regions)in China are analyzed by regression. The results show that the overall level of the development of the logistics industry in the eight ethnic provinces(regions)is relatively low,and the impact of the logistics industry on the economic growth of the eight ethnic provinces(regions)is uneven.Among the eight ethnic provinces(regions),the development of logistics industry has a significant positive driving effect on the economic growth of Inner Mongolia,Guangxi,Xinjiang,Guizhou,Ningxia and Yunnan provinces(regions),while the driving effect on the economic growth of Qinghai Province and Tibet Tibetan Autonomous Region is small and insignificant.Based on the above research conclusions and the actual situation of each province(region),this paper further analyzes the reasons why the logistics industry of the eight ethnic provinces(regions)has different impacts on economic growth, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the healthy and sustainable development of the logistics industry of the eight ethnic provinces(regions)in the future.
