In recent years,China's economic development has entered a new normal,and the economic development has entered an important period of strategic opportunities.The economy will develop steadily,effectively and sustainably,which brings opportunities and challenges to the development of retail business of commercial banks.The retail products of commercial banks are more abundant and more powerful.The development of retail business has become an important means for urban commercial banks to enhance their competitiveness and expand their market share.Many domestic and foreign commercial banks regard the development of retail business as an effective means for their rapid development and have achieved phased results.Under the new normal of economy,how to develop the retail business of commercial banks is a complex and important project.It needs to rely on the advanced theory of economics and management,learn from the successful experience of the development of retail business of commercial banks at home and abroad,and design countermeasures to boost the development in combination with the industry reality in China.As a city commercial bank,XT Bank is facing competition from state-owned banks,joint-stock banks and other city commercial banks.In the face of the fierce market environment,the development of retail business will bring the opportunity of "overtaking in the corner" for XT Bank.Firstly,this paper summarizes the retail business development theories of domestic and foreign commercial banks,defines the relevant concepts,summarizes the related concepts of retail business,the development process and direction of retail business,and uses the competitive advantage strategy theory,financial innovation theory,customer relationship management theory and transformation development theory to lay the theoretical foundation for the full text.Secondly,it analyzes the advanced retail development mode of commercial banks at home and abroad,and draws on the experience of eight cases of Citibank,Umpqua Bank,Hong Leong Bank,Capital One Bank,China Merchants Bank,China Construction Bank,CITIC Bank,Industrial Bank,etc.,and analyzes the development status and development mode of XT Bank retail business in detail,so as to providereference for the development of XT Bank retail business.Finally,it analyzes the bottleneck restricting the development of XT Bank's retail business from two aspects of external and internal environment,puts forward suggestions for the development of XT Bank's retail business according to the existing problems,puts forward transformation strategies from four aspects of brand strategy,business innovation,customer management,publicity and marketing,and clarifies three guarantee measures of team building,risk prevention and control,and technology leading to provide for XT Bank construction opinions on the development of sales business,to assist the overall business development of XT Bank.
