With the transformation of the main social contradictions in the new era,"unbalanced and inadequate" development has become an important problem to be solved in the process of economic development in China, among which the imbalance of regional economic development has always been the focus of attention of the state and scholars. The imbalance of regional economic development in China has a long gap between the north and the south of the Yellow River" during the deliberation of the Shandong delegation. In April 2017,Premier Li Keqiang again raised the issue of China's economic trend differentiation during his inspection in Shandong, which changed from "the gap between the East and the west" to "the gap between the north and the South".China's economic development pattern has formed a situation of "fast in the South and slow in the north".At present, there are relatively few domestic researches on the imbalance of regional economic development between the north and the south of China.Based on this background, this paper takes the northeast and the Yangtze River Delta region as the research object to explore the imbalance of regional economic development between the north and the south of China,in order to understand the degree of imbalance of economic development between the north and the south at a higher level, and at the same time,it has certain reference significance for the level of strategy analysis.ng his inspection in Shandong, which changed from "the gap between the East and the west" to "the gap between the north and the South".China's economic development between the north and the south of China,in order to understand the degree of imbalance of economic development between the north and the south at a higher level, and at the same time,it has certain reference significance for the level of strategy analysis.First of all, this paper expounds the research background and significance of the imbalance of regional economic development in North and South China, and defines the research problems and objects. Then, from the domestic and foreign perspectives,we sort out and summarize the relevant literature on the imbalance of economic development to provide theoretical basis for the follow-up research.Secondly,in order to ensure the sustainability of the research, this chapter explores the current situation of the unbalanced economic development between the north and the south in the northeast and the Yangtze River Delta region, and compares the current situation of the two regions in 1978-2017 from seven aspects: economic growth, industrial structure, residents' income, fixed asset investment, human capital, fiscal revenue and expenditure, and the degree of opening to the outside world In 1978-1991,there was no significant gap between the two regions in all aspects, and the gap increased gradually from 1992.Thirdly,this paper sets up the basic deviation maximization combination weight model to weigh the entropy weight method and TOPSIS method, and measures the comprehensive score of economic development, then uses the Theil index to measure the imbalance index of economic development. The results show that the three weight methods have basically the same trend: in 1978-1991 and 1992-2001,the northeast economic development The comprehensive score of exhibition is higher than that of the Yangtze River Delta, and the other stages are the opposite. It is found that the imbalance between the two regions is gradually increasing, and the regional overall imbalance is also gradually increasing. Finally, this paper uses GLM model to analyze the differences of the influencing factors of the imbalance of economic development between the two regions.Through the analysis of the influencing factors of different explained variables(comprehensive score and imbalance index of economic development)and the imbalance of economic development in different stages in different regions, the results show that human capital, foreign direct investment, industrial structure and marketization level are suitable When the promotion and the reduction of government intervention system will effectively alleviate the imbalance of regional economic development, and further put forward relevant policy recommendations according to the research results.
