| The traditional insurance mainly considered traditional data, including vehicle type, vehicle use, accidents and claims records, driver’s age and sex, ignored the driving behavior;UBI was a new kind of insurance synthesized vehicle and driver’s situation under internet and big data. This study analyzed the disadvantages of current auto insurance premium pattern and constructed the driving – scoring model based on the UBI;Effect of vehicle situation and driving behavior on auto insurance premium was determined by correlation and regression analysis using SPSS19 and R(version 2.2).The main contents and results are as follows:(1)In order to make quantitative analysis on the driving behavior, times of rapid acceleration, rapid deceleration,over-speed in 100 km and annual mileage as index to evaluate driving behavior;the score was based on evaluating criterion and weight of each index. Results showed that drivers with 10-15 thousand driving-miles got the highest scores, and the score was significantly decreased with increase in driving-miles.The score was higher when drivers were at the age between 30 to 45 and lower when the age of drives was less than 30 and more than 45.The score was significantly and negative correlated with times of speed changes.(2)The results of correlation and regression analysis showed that auto insurance premium had a significant and positive relationship with vehicle price and score of driving behavior, while had a significant and negative relationship with mileage and times of over-speed in 100km;driving behavior had a significant and positive correlation with average speed in 100km;When the vehicle insurance rate is the dependent variable, the partial regression coefficient of vehicle total price(x1)and driver’s driving behavior score(x2)is positive, while the partial regression coefficient of speeding times(x3),mileage(x4)and direction angle(x5)is negative, regression equation was y = 8993.9 + 132.89x1 + 61.50x2-466.22x3-120.23x4-5.12x5;The driving behavior score as the dependent variable, the partial regression coefficients of speeding times in 100km(x1),acceleration times in 100km(x2),deceleration times in 100km(x3)and driving-miles(x4)were negative, indicating the theoretical foundation of the driving behavior as a safety risk assessment is more appropriate. The regression equation is: y=97.79-2.01x1-0.61x2-0.66x3-0.52x4;driving behavior may be play a more important role in making auto insurance premium and evaluate driving risk compared to vehicles. |
