President Situation,Problems And Countermeasures Of Vegetable Industry In Ganzhou District Of Zhangye City

Ganzhou District,located in the middle of Hexi Corridor,is the key region of the ancient Silk Road,in recent years,it have given full play to the advantages of geographical location and natural resources,vigorously developed highland summer vegetables,protected vegetables,forming a multi-mode production pattern of solar greenhouse,plastic greenhouse and open field production,vegetable industry has gradually become one of the important pillar industries of promoting agricultural efficiency,increasing farmers income and rural development in the whole region.Under the situation that the adjustment of the vegetable industry layout to the advantageous production area in China,it is of great significance to clarify the current situation and existing problems of vegetable industry in Ganzhou District and explore countermeasures for sustainable development.On the basis of expounding the research progress and development status of domestic and foreign vegetable industry,this paper analyzes current situation and existing problems of vegetable industry in Ganzhou District by using research methods such as literature analysis,comparative research,investigation and research,case analysis,summary,analyzes the successful experience by taking the vegetable industry in Mingyong Town of this district as a typical case,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for sustainable industrial development.(1)Current situation of vegetable Industry in Ganzhou District: at present,the pattern and advantage area of the vegetable industry has been formed in Ganzhou District,standardized production is gradually promoted,and facility agriculture is gradually developed.In 2018,cultivation area of vegetables was 246,000 hectares with a production of 1.4 million tons.Mainly based on 8 kinds of vegetables such as: baby cabbage,cauliflower,tomato,onion,Jinzhangye summer dishes,Longshang baby cabbage,Jinfengyuan leek and other brands have begun to establish.The annual domestic sales of vegetables is more than 200000 tons,and annual export of vegetables is about 1.15 million tons in the whole region,which has developed into an important vegetable distribution center in Northwest China,and domestic sales and export are gradually becoming a scale.Vegetable industry has become an important pillar industry of economy and farmer's income in Ganzhou District.(2)Analysis of Mingyong Town case: the long-term plan of “two parks and four lines” has been formulated and formed a vegetable industry pattern of “one park,two bases and three central villages”,radiation-drive the development from central villages along the river,introduce suitable new varieties,and vigorously develop export-oriented order agriculture;The protected vegetables started earlier,and the planting area and benefit were stable;Mingyongtan Gobi Facility Agricultural Park covering 893.3 hectares has been completed,of which greenhouse covering 18 hectares,steel roof truss shed covering 80 hectares,green wasteland covering 20 hectares,vegetable base for Hong Kong covering 40 hectares,onion export record base covering 100 hectares,characteristic fruit base covering 33.3 hectares,driving the rapid development of plateau summer vegetables and organic vegetables;Dredge domestic and export channels,the domestic sales of vegetables in 2018 was more than 50000 tons,the export of vegetables was more than 100000 tons,which had become an important vegetable distribution center in Zhangye City.(3)Problems exist in vegetable industry in Ganzhou District: the development of vegetable industry in Ganzhou is still facing many problems.For example: types of vegetables grown are few,the variety is updated slowly,and brand awareness is low,the marketing channel is single,the product competitiveness is not strong,the construction of infrastructure and supporting facilities is not perfect,the development of facility agriculture is in great difficulty,leading enterprises are not strong,the driving role of the main operating body is not fully played,lack of professional and technical service personnel,and the environmental problems of vegetable fields restrict the development of the vegetable industry.(4)Countermeasures and suggestions: facing the main problems existing in the vegetable industry in Ganzhou District,it is suggested to strengthen the introduction of new varieties and speed up the update pace of variety;Strengthen brand promotion,expand sales channels and improve product competitiveness;Perfect financing systems and mechanisms and standardized construction of vegetable base;Strengthen the driving ability of leading enterprises and accelerate the cultivation of new business subjects;Strengthen the promotion of science and technology,and enrich the professional technical personnel of vegetables in towns;Control the pollution of plastic film,improve the treatment rate of unqualified vegetables,and comprehensively promote the sustainable development of the vegetable industry.
