At present,the economic goes to the globalization and marketization.The competition among manufacturers has spread to supply chain capacity.In order to meet to market demand and make more profits,as different partners in their supply chains,enterprises are constantly improving their core competence and try their best to win customers in different supply chain area.They have to deal with the different risk from their supply chain,especially for manufacturers,the risk of material supply is very important and sometimes vital to keep their capactiy.Therefore,it is very urgent and important to study the risk of material supply and improve the risk management level for enterprises,especially for manufacturers.In this thesis,we take the small company – OMET(Suzhou)Machinery Co.,Ltd as an example for manufacturers,focusing on its material supply risk.Firstly,we investigate and analyze the current situation on material supply risks in OMET by questionnaires survey and field observation.Secondly,we find the main risk sources of material supply.They are Supplier Risk,Purchasing Risk and Technical Risk.And the sorting of risk accidents are determined.The first is time.The second is quality.and the third is quantity.The last one is price.Thus,the risk sources and risk accidents are ranked.And the key points are found.These analysis data are provided a good basis for the risk assessment and treatment.Thirdly,we put forward a specific management plan –Material Supply Risk Management Schedule according to the risk analyzed result.Then,we provide the implements and corresponding guarantee measures for OMET to make the Schedule come true.We hope the result of this thesis help OMET improve the material supply capacity and respond the material supply risk more effectively and quickly.And it may give references to other enterprises,especially manufacturers reinforce risk management,get the sustainable capacity in supply chain management.
