Research On The Promotion Of Potato Industry In Yulin City Under The Background Of Industrial Integration

Potato is the fourth largest food crop in China.It has important strategic significance for China’s agricultural structure optimization and transformation,and food security.Yulin City is one of the five major eugenic areas,and also one of the three major producers of potato in China.Yulin’s potato industry currently has problems such as large but not strong,short industrial chain and weak development momentum.Therefore,it has important theoretical and practical significance to study Yulin’s industrial structure and the development status of potato industry,and propose countermeasures for the development of industrial integration for Yulin City and the integration of potato industry.Based on the theory of industrial integration theory and industrial structure optimization theory,this paper takes Yulin’s industrial structure optimization and transformation as the background;takes Yulin’s industrial integration degree evaluation and potato industry integration development as the research object;takes index analysis method and logic analysis method to analyze Yulin’s industrial structure for the detail development status of potato industry,and the countermeasures for the development of potato industry integration.The study has the following conclusions:1.In the past 40 years,Yulin City has seen a significant increase on its gross domestic product and per capita GDP.The structure of the three industries has evolved from "1.3:2"(58.7:20.0”21.3)to "2.3.1"(5:62:33).Since 2011,the contribution rate of the secondary industry in Yulin City has remained at around 75%,and the economy has been driven by the secondary industry for a long time.The total agricultural output value of Yulin City has increased significantly in recent years,but the value-added rate has continued to decline,at the meanwhile,the total agricultural production has increased significantly.The integration of the three industries in Yulin City is characterized by medium-high integration,but it has declined in recent years.The integration degree of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery and service industry of Yulin show a high degree of integration,with a small decline in recent years.2.There are still a series of problems in the industrial integration development of Yulin City,such as: the macro management system needs to be improved;the industrial structure is single,and the market entity is not competitive;the scale of operating management is small,and the proportion of new business entities is not high;the insufficient innovation and supporting factors is not enough;environmental constraint is intensified,and all the serice prombles make bottleneck constraints be prominent.It is proposed that the industrial development of Yulin City should be scientifically planned in the future,and the overall planning of Yulin industry should be integrated;Te supply side reform should be used as an opportunity to reconstruct the industrial structure of Yulin;The development of modern agriculture should be lead by strengthening the demonstration of industrial science and technology agricultural parks;The well-known industrial integration demonstration zone should be build by strengthening regional brand cultivation;The industrial multi-functional development should be promote with industry restructuring as an opportunity.3.The potato industry in Yulin City has expanded its planting area by 60,000 hectares in the past 40 years,and the total output has increased by 400,000 tons.It has been the first potato planting city in the province.The potato industry has basically formed the industrial chain from breeding,planting and processing,but overall there is still the predicament of “the industry is big enough,but uncompetitive,and the farmers are not rich”.The study found that the potato industry in Yulin City has a low overall yield level and weak industrial development;most of the processing levels remain at the primary stage;the degree of industrialization and integration is low;and the potato industry develop slow,and so on.In this view,it is proposed that the future potato industry should strengthen the construction of the potato breeding system,establish a multi-level layered processing system,strengthen the potato marketing system,establish and improve the production,inprove technology reserch and production system,strengthen policies to guide the potato industry integration developmen,excavatesthe potato culture characteristic deeply,and strengthen yulin potato brand construction.
