Nowadays,global competition becomes more and more fierce.Innovation is regarded as the core of strategies by more and more enterprises,and it cannot be separated from innovative employees.In order to improve the innovation behavior of employees,effective incentive mechanism and extensive development platform should be provided to stimulate them.As a result,a win-win situation between individual value and enterprise strategy can be achieved.At present,the dual-employee family model occupies the mainstream status,and there is increasing demand for employees' families.Work-family conflicts and coordination are inevitable.Managers motivate employees to innovate,which should not only confine employees to work,but also pay attention to their needs.Family-supported supervisor behaviors are used to support employees' fulfillment of family responsibilities,which can ensure the completion of employees' work tasks and the realization of organizational goals.It has attracted extensive attention from the academic community and the industry in recent years.Therefore,it is of great significance to drill down to the relationship between family-supporting supervisory behaviors and employee innovative behaviors for business management practices and related theoretical developments.Based on literature analysis,this paper classifies the behaviors of familysupportive supervisors into emotional support,instrumental support,role model behavior,and creative work-family management.Based on social exchange theory,this paper establishes a regulated mediating model of family-supportive supervisor behavior,organizational psychological ownership,supervisor's organizational embodiment,and employee innovation behavior.Based on questionnaires from 410 employees nested in 82 teams,the results show that:(1)The behaviors of family-supported supervisors can positively affect employees' innovative behavior across levels.The emotional support,instrumental support,and creative work-family management have a significant positive impact on employee innovation behavior,while role model behavior does not have a significant positive impact on employee innovation behavior;(2)Family-supported supervisory behavior can positively affect organizational psychological ownership across levels.The emotional support,instrumental support,and creative work-family management have a significant positive impact on organizational psychological ownership,while role model behavior does not have a significant positive impact on organizational psychological ownership.(3)The behavior of family-supported supervisors can influence employees' innovative behaviors through organizational psychological ownership.The organizational psychological ownership plays an intermediary role in the relationship between emotional support,instrumental support,creative work-family management and employee innovative behavior;(4)Supervisor's organizational embodiment is positively adjusting the "emotional support-organizational psychological ownership","instrumental support-organizational psychological ownership","creative work-family management-organizational psychological ownership" mechanism.(5)Supervisor's organizational embodiment are positively adjusting "emotional support-organizational psychological ownership-employee innovative behavior","instrumental support-organizational psychological ownership-employee innovative behavior","creative work-family management-organizational psychological ownership-employee innovative behavior".That means the lower the level of supervisor's organizational embodiment is,the more obvious the above-mentioned mechanisms are.This paper proposes and verifies that family-supported supervisory behavior has the cross-level positive impact on employee innovation behavior,which providing a new perspective for employee innovation behavior research field.At the same time,this paper proposes that organizational psychological ownership is an intermediary variable,and supervisor's organizational embodiment is a moderating variable.It provides a situational mechanism for family-supported supervisors' behavior to affect employees' innovative behavior across levels in practical practice.
