| Nowadays,the trend of economic globalization is getting stronger and stronger.The industrial revolution and the scientific and technological revolution have become important drivers of economic development,and the global value chain has been further adjusted and reshaped.As an emerging industry,producer service industry is increasingly closely related to manufacturing industry because it penetrates into the production process of manufacturing industry.At the same time,it can effectively promote the economic development of a country due to its outstanding characteristics of high added value of science and technology,knowledge and products,and attracts great attention from all countries in the world.In today’s world economy,the developed country on to the global value chain of high-end production,and the less developed countries because of its economic development level limit is limited in the global value chain low-end production link,and the various countries’ trade barriers gradually strengthen,seriously hindered the less developed countries into the global value chain of high-end climbing.From a global perspective,China’s producer services are at a low level of division of labor,mainly concentrated in the downstream links of production.Traditional industries occupy the main part of producer services,while the development of emerging industries such as financial insurance,computer and software industries is not optimistic.Therefore,the increasing research on producer services and its promotion of China’s position in the global value chain to the middle and high end of the transition,increase the country’s comprehensive competitive advantage in the global market and enhance the position of the global value chain provide new ideas.This paper firstly analyzes the development status of producer services in China from the perspectives of industry and global value chain,and finds that although producer services in China have developed rapidly in recent years,there are still some problems such as unreasonable industrial structure development and serious trade deficit.Then,by comparing and analyzing the GVC status of producer services between China and typical countries in theworld,it is found that the GVC status of producer services in China is obviously lower than that of developed countries,but the change trend of GVC status index shows a "w-shaped" state,gradually climbing from the low position to the high position.Again,in this paper,from two dimensions of the world and China,by establishing the econometric model,analyzed the impact of producer services on the status of global value chain,the study found that producer services export,labor,per capita GDP of the country’s status in the global value chain has significant positive influence,while foreign direct investment to the country’s status in the global value chain has a negative impact.Finally,based on the above analysis results,the author puts forward some Suggestions on how China’s producer services can improve its global value chain status. |
