With the concern and support by the central and local governments,tourism industry,academic circle,scientific research department and other industries,red tourism has stepped into a rapid development stage and is becoming a new bright spot in domestic tourism.In the new stage of integrated development of culture and tourism,red tourism,the integration of culture and tourism,has become the key point in the academic circles and plays an important role in telling revolutionary story and inheriting revolutionary culture.Landscape narratives introduces the perspective of Narratology that gives landscape speaking right to convey historical,human,and natural information to environmental experiencers by using landscape language(place language),so that people can understand the knowledge,emotions,spirit,and memory contained in the scene.It plays an important role in the exploration,expression,and continuation of the historical memory and cultural value of red culture.This is in line with the practical needs of red tourism.Therefore,this study uses landscape narratives as the starting point to study red tourism and discusses its narrative methods and tourist perception effects,which provides a paradigm for other red tourism scenic spots.Inner Mongolia has a glorious revolutionary tradition.It has experienced the War of Resistance against Japan and the War of Liberation,leaving behind many touching stories and revolutionary remains on this region.The national spirit behind the preserved cultural relics and ruins is exactly the meaning and significance of the symbol of red culture.Therefore,the development of red tourism in Inner Mongolia should stand on telling the revolutionary stories and spreading the revolutionary culture.It is essential that the red cultural transmission channel should be continuously enriched in the planning and design of the scenic spot,so that the improvement of the narrative effect andsignificance of the entire landscape will be achieved.The thesis aims to scrutinize the landscape narratives and countermeasures to enhance the landscape meaning of Inner Mongolia’s red tourism landscape from the viewpoint of tourism experience.It also uses Wulanfu Memorial Hall Tourism Area as a case study to discuss its narrative methods and tourist perception effects in terms of the detailed study on a single scenic spot.At the same time point to area,the thesis proposes the planning concept to improve the narrative meaning of red tourism in Inner Mongolia.The results indicate that Wulanfu Memorial Hall Tourism Area provides landscape narratives experience and reference for other scenic spots in the aspects of the creation of narrative environment,narrative plot and narrative materials.However,it biases against tourist perception effects in terms of narrative content,narrative methods,and narrative soft environment.It is divided into four points: First,inadequate and inconspicuous signs in the scenic spots are at the top of the interview,then the inflexible explanation skills of the interpreters and slow update of guide words,which makes it difficult to connect the various narrative elements and affects the integrity of the narrative effect.Second is that the narrative methods focus on patterns,video narratives,and text narratives,which are relatively simple and plain,so that leads to a lower perception of the narrative context.Third,comrade Wulanfu Memorial Hall Tourism Area has a strong brand benefit in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,while the Memorial is slightly inferior to other similar scenic spots in terms of reputation are due to insufficient promotion.Fourth,as one of the favorite projects of tourists,narrative activities have not achieved the expected effect because of low frequency,single form and low influence of the activities in the Memorial.The narrative methods and tourist feedback of the Wulanfu Memorial Hall Tourism Area destination put forward the following ideas for improving the narrative meaning of Inner Mongolia’s red tourism.Firstly,the scenic spot should shape its artistic conception and refresh tourists’ revolutionary memory in order to increase repeat visitors.Secondly,in the planning anddesign of scenic spots,it is necessary to improve the landscape node and optimize the narrative methods,so as to deepen the tourists’ experience.Finally,in the area of marketing,scenic spots should expand its brand influence,seize opportunities,and actively carry out red tourism publicity and education activities to attract the attention of tourists. |
