Due to the slowdown in economic growth, the improvement of overall education level, and the strengthening of population mobility, more and more employees are unable to find jobs that match their qualifications. The phenomenon of overqualifications is widespread. However,it has not been concluded that whether overqualified employees are completely adverse to the enterprise.Overqualified employees have a high level of knowledge. If they take the initiative to share knowledge,it will deepen the positive impact of knowledge sharing and help improve the competitiveness and innovation ability of the organization. However, there is a lack of research on the relationship between overqualification and employees' knowledge sharing behavior. This paper first reviews the literature related to the four main variables involved in the existing studies: perceived overqualification, core self-evaluations,leader political skill and knowledge sharing behavior, then constructs the framework of this study based on the trait situational view,difference-reduction mechanism and selfverification theory, and proposes relevant research hypotheses on this basis.Secondly,on the basis of the relevant mature scale, the questionnaire of this study was compiled, and the formal scale was obtained through correction. Finally, hierarchical regression analysis and Bootstrap analysis were used to analyze the questionnaire data to verify the research hypothesis of this paper.Based on the survey data of 529 enterprise employees, the analysis shows that different individual factors and enterprise factors have different influences on perceived overqualification, core self-evaluations,leader political skill and knowledge sharing behavior.Perceived overqualification has a significant negative influence on employees' core knowledge sharing behavior and core self-evaluations;core self-evaluations play a full mediating role in the negative relationship between perceived overqualification and employees' knowledge sharing behavior, including common knowledge sharing behavior and core knowledge sharing behavior;Leader political skill negatively moderated the relationship between perceived overqualification and employee core self-evaluations.Through the core self-evaluations,this paper provides a more complete explanation of the influence of perceived overqualification, and through the leader political skill to understand the boundary of the perceived overqualification, enriches the research on the impact of perceived overqualification on knowledge sharing behavior, offers a new way for the study of the overqualification, and deepens the understanding of how overqualification affects knowledge sharing behavior.
