This study is to know the market trend of bike preferences on youths specially college going students and teachers.i.e.between age group of 16-35 yrs.Both students and teachers from specified groups from major colleges of Kathmandu valley have been incorporated.This study deals with the preferences of youth in two-wheelers considering various other factors.There is competition in the field of automobile company in today's market specially bike in context of Nepal.Thus,the market trend for youths and the preference in youth for the bike can be known.Sample size of 100 have been used in this study that represents the youth of Kathmandu valley.This study uses the non probability sampling technique.Under this technique convenience sampling is used because it is difficult and inconvenience to visit each and every individual youth of Kathmandu valley.Therefore,convenience sampling technique is used.For data management,SPSS 16.0 software is used.The collected data is logically and systematically recorded using SPSS software and analysis is done.Descriptive as well as inferential analysis is used for the analyzing the data.Central tendency,frequency table,chart,graph and dispersion are used for descriptive analysis.Hypothesis testing,ANOVA test and other testing are done for inferential analysis.The variables Income,Mileage,Performance,Brand,Promotion,Road availability do not have relationship with the bike they own currently and previously.Performance is.
