With the economic globalization, the tourism industry has developed rapidly in recent decades and has become an important source of economic growth in various countries;the process of regional tourism integration, led by the construction of tourism service systems and transportation infrastructure, has accelerated, thereby making tourism The spatial pattern of behavior has begun to change from single city tourism and well-known attractions to multi-destination combined regional tourism. The metropolitan area is the product of regional combination. It has become an important carrier and platform to support the development of tourism, and plays an important role in integrating and allocating market resources and the relationship between regions. This paper uses the Nanjing metropolitan area as the geographical space to study.Under the guidance of the spatial interaction theory of tourism industry development in the metropolitan area, the spatial-temporal geographic weighted regression model(GTWR)is used. The empirical research on the spatial distribution of tourism industry and its influencing factors has been carried out.In the analysis of the current status of tourism resources in the Nanjing metropolitan area,it was found that the tourism industry in the Nanjing metropolitan area as a whole was on an upward trend from 2010 to 2017,and the development momentum was good;in the calculation of the location quotient,it was found that the distribution of tourist attractions and tourist hotels was developing."Big dispersion, small agglomeration" imbalance and uncoordinated status: Nanjing is far superior to other cities in absolute value, and there is a hierarchical status.Among them, the gap between the four cities in Anhui and Ning Zhenyang is too large. The empirical results of the GTWR model show that the same influencing factors have different effects on different cities and years.Among them, the proportion of the tertiary industry in the total output value, the urban greening rate, per capita disposable income, and the total number of scenic spots have the largest impact. The results show that these factors have spatial and temporal differences. The urban greening rate is the factor that has the greatest impact on the agglomeration of the tourism industry, showing a distribution trend of "high in the east and low in the west",and has a positive impact on the whole;the proportion of the tertiary industry in the total output value The influence on the agglomeration of tourism industry shows the spatial distribution of cities in themetropolitan area “decreasing from east to west”;the number of scenic spots shows the distribution characteristics of “high in the south, low in the north, high in the west, and low in the west”;this paper introduces previous research The factors of less-observed urban greening rate have empirically found that it has a significant impact on improving the location quotient of the tourism industry.Based on the above research results, this article finally proposes several related policy suggestions such as the rational development of tourism resources, the creation of distinctive tourism products, and the complementary advantages of cooperation between some industries in the metropolitan area.
