In the past three years,the daily active users have exceeded 400 million,and the average person has started nearly six times a day,which has become a huge new traffic pool.The paper starts from the relevant realistic and theoretical background,analyzes the macro environment of Tik Tok using the PEST model,collects the development trend of the industry,and relies on the Wei Zhu Business Canvas 2.0 model to study the existing business model of Tik Tok,pointing out the problems that exist in the current business model of Tik Tok,thus further triggering the thinking on how to innovate the business model in the future.Through the analysis of these issues,the author started from the business model under the structural morphological perspective,combined with the AARRR pyramid model to innovate Tik Tok’s business model by differentiating the positioning,improving the business system,using key resources,improving the conversion of traffic and revenue in the profit model,and finally realizing user self-propagation and value creation.Subsequently,a strategic design was carried out to guarantee the implementation of Tik Tok’s business model innovation in terms of talent team building,partnership improvement,technology and usage experience optimization,and platform content optimization.Finally,according to the development trend of short video industry,combined with this case study on Tik Tok,summarized that the key points of business operation in the short video industry are to make use of social networks to do a good job of self-propagation,and inwardly to deep plow content,with AI algorithm recommendation and other high-tech means to increase customer stickiness;in addition,in the design of the business model to increase the conversion of the main relationship as far as possible,so as to better achieve the business model of the closed loop;finally,the times are changing,there is no unchanging king,only an era of the strong,only by following the trend to become the tide of the times.It is hoped that it will have important practical reference value and guidance for the future development of the short video industry and business model innovation.
