Among the many problems in the catering industry,the problem of performance management is becoming more and more important.Performance management is a link between company's strategic goals and daily business activities,and performance appraisal is a key link in employee performance management.Effective performance appraisal can improve employee's work enthusiasm,provide basis for employee promotion,salary,reward and punishment and training,and create a fair and competitive working environment for enterprises,so as to better serve customers and enhance competitiveness of enterprises.Performance appraisal is a systematic and huge project with complexity and sensitivity.Therefore,in order to effective use and motivate employees,realize the strategic objectives of enterprises and optimize the performance appraisal of employees,it has become an important issue for the development of enterprises.Based on T,KFC service personnel as the research object,from the overview of the basic theory of performance appraisal,using literature research,questionnaire survey method and so on,the performance appraisal of the KFC service group in T area is been optimized.Firstly,it analyzes the development trend of the domestic catering industry,and points out the profound significance of optimizing the performance examination system of the service group of KFC.This paper collated and summarized the theory related to performance appraisal,and provided a basis for the performance evaluation of KFC service group in T area.Secondly,it introduces the current situation and existing performance appraisal of KFC Corporation and its service team,and analyzes the reasons for the existing performance appraisal problems of T KFC service team.Again according to the assessment of key performance indicators(KPI)related to performance appraisal theory,combined with the actual situation of KFC,it completes for KFC company service personnel performance appraisal of optimization design;Finally,the guarantee measures are put forward to ensure the smooth operation of the optimized performance appraisal system.This study for KFC in T area service personnel to improve performance evaluation scheme provides a workable scheme.On the one hand,KFC Corporation has improved operation management,improved customer dining experience and has great influence on brand service.On the other hand,it also has some reference significance for performance management optimization of service group in catering industry.
