As an important carrier of "mass entrepreneurship, mass innovation",the development of Maker Space reflects the progress of entrepreneurship and innovation,so it is necessary to evaluate the development level of Maker Space regularly. As a tool to measure the development level of enterprises, performance evaluation helps enterprises to accurately identify their own defects, which is the current research hotspot and difficulty.Regulatory departments and academic circles pay more attention to the evaluation of entrepreneurship service ability from the public perspective. For the Maker Space,Regulatory departments and academic circles lack comprehensiveness and pay less attention to the performance of Maker Space in operation. In view of this, from the perspective of the operation of Maker Space, this paper uses dynamic efficiency coefficient method and Factor Analysis Method to build the performance evaluation model of Maker Space.First of all, starting from the theoretical framework of the performance evaluation of Maker Space, this paper analyzes the research results of many scholars on the performance evaluation of Maker Space and incubator,as well as the application of evaluation methods.Then,19 key indicators were selected from 23 performance evaluation indicators of Maker Space by questionnaire. At the same time,in view of the phenomenon that "the index weight is interfered by subjectivity" in the performance evaluation of Dynamic Efficacy Coefficient Method,Factor Analysis Method is introduced to calculate the index weight, and a dynamic evaluation model of Maker Space performance is constructed. On this basis, the evaluation model is used to measure the performance level of 81 Maker Spaces in Xiamen.Through Factor Analysis Method, the performance evaluation index system is reorganized into five criteria layers,i.e."operation benefit, incubation service ability, physical space providing ability, service supporting level and social contribution degree".The weights of 19 evaluation indexes are determined by variance contribution rate and factor score coefficient. Then, the comprehensive performance scores of 81 Maker Spaces in Xiamen are calculated. The evaluation results prove the validity of the evaluation model. The results show that:(1)The overall performance level of the Maker Spaces in Xiamen is low, which is in line with the reality;(2)Incubation service ability is the most critical competitiveness of Maker Space;(3)The Maker Spaces in Xiamen need to make improvements in income generation, investment and financing ability, operator quality, activity frequency, public service area, etc.According to the evaluation results, suggestions are put forward for the Maker Space in Xiamen:(1)Strengthen the cultivation of incubation service capabilities;(2)Improve investment and financing service capabilities;(3)Improve the level of professional construction;(4)Build a high-quality operation team;(5)Actively introduce college entrepreneurial teams;(6)Strengthen the guidance and control of policies. In this paper, the dynamic performance evaluation model based on Dynamic Efficacy Coefficient Method and Factor Analysis Method can make dynamic evaluation according to the development data of different periods of Maker Space, which has flexibility and adaptability.Factor Analysis Method combined with Dynamic Efficiency Coefficient Method reduces the subjectivity of index weight. From the perspective of the operation of Maker Space, the operation efficiency is included in the performance evaluation system, and the performance of Maker Space is systematically and comprehensively evaluated, which provides an important reference for Maker Space to comprehensively identify its own shortcomings and has important practical significance for promoting the development of Maker Space.
