Heat exchanger equipment is a common industrial equipment with many types of products.The main types of heat exchange are plate,shell and fin,and are widely used.They are mainly used in chemical industry,heating,electricity,food,manufacturing and other industries.The manufacture of heat exchangers belongs to the sunrise industry,and the competition among enterprises in the industry is extremely fierce.The competition among enterprises is the competition of products.Traditional mature products are not competitive,and only by constantly introducing new products can they be in an advantageous position in the competition.The research and development of new products are both uncertain and difficult,but how to achieve the first step to develop new products is the key factor for enterprises to win or lose in the competition.Company S is a technology-based company.Although its R & D product performance has a strong advantage among its peers,the product R & D cycle is relatively long.The main reason is the progress of product R & D projects.It is particularly important to choose appropriate methods to manage the progress of R & D projects.In this paper,first of all,the purpose and significance of the research,the background of Company S’s industry,the development process of project schedule management,related concepts and theories,and common methods were introduced.The research situation of the scholars was summarized,and the research ideas and methods were clarified.Then,Company S’s current project management organization structure,project schedule management process,project planning and control,etc.were described in the paper.Company S’s problems in the progress management of product development projects were pointed out,and the causes of the problems were analyzed in depth.Next,Company S’s laser welding plate heat exchanger R & D project(referred to as the LWP project)is taken as the research object in this paper.Due to the particularity of the project,in order to meet the customer’s delivery requirements,Company S first prepared the project plan using the plan review method and the critical path method combined with a quick follow-up method,and found that the construction period had just met the customer delivery time requirements.However,there is a greater risk of project delay due to consideration of human resource and other project resource constraints.In view of the current problems,the use of critical chain project management can solve the problem of resource constraints.Therefore,the critical chain technology is used to compile the plan of the LWP project in this paper.A certain algorithm is used to calculate the critical chain,which solves the problem of human resource constraints,and the risk of a more reasonable buffer control project is set to effectively ensure the implementation progress of the project.Then,the Monte Carlo method was used to simulate the project plan prepared twice,and after analyzing the data,the project plan prepared by the critical chain method was more appropriate.Therefore,the project plan is adopted to implement the project.Finally,the research of the paper was summarized,and the fact that progress management could be effectively controlled under effective measures was pointed out,so that the progress of the project was improved.At the same time,the research results of this paper have a significant reference value for the Company S in product development progress management,which is worthy of Company S for promotion and application.
