Since the 1980 s,the division of labor in global value chains has developed in depth and has become a prominent feature of economic globalization. At the same time, relying on comprehensive development advantages such as abundant labor resources, huge market space, complete infrastructure and strong government support policies,China has successfully embedded the global value chain division of labor network and become an important participant in the global value chain.Unfortunately,China has long been at the low end of the global value chain. It is mainly engaged in labor-intensive production links with low added value and low technological content. The acquisition of international competitive advantages mainly depends on lower prices,so it is very easy to become Targets of trading partner countries in implementing anti-dumping proceedings. As a result, the research on the impact of rising global value chain status on companies' anti-dumping barriers has become a hot topic in the academic field.Based on corporate microdata, this paper empirically examines whether the rise of the global value chain of Chinese companies can have an evading effect on anti-dumping barriers. The main research content can be divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction. It mainly discusses the research background and significance of this article. It summarizes the research literature on related topics at home and abroad.insufficient.The second chapter is the theoretical mechanism analysis of the impact of global value chain status on anti-dumping barriers. It mainly elaborates the internal theoretical mechanism of the rise of global value chains and the impact of anti-dumping barriers on enterprises. The third chapter is the analysis of the status quo of Chinese companies' embedded global value chains and the status quo of anti-dumping barriers. The fifth chapter is the empirical analysis part.It establishes an empirical model to explore the impact of the rise of the global value chain of the enterprise on its encounter with anti-dumping barriers, and conducts a nonlinear effect test.Chapter VI is the conclusion and recommendations. The research results in this article show that the rise of the global value chain position has significantly reduced the probability of Chinese enterprises being subject to anti-dumping lawsuits, that is,the circumvention of anti-dumping barriers, especially the anti-dumping actions from developing countries. In addition, this circumvention effect has become more prominent in foreign-funded enterprises and after joining the WTO.A further non-linear effect test found that there is a U-shaped relationship between the rising global value chain status and anti-dumping lawsuits encountered by Chinese companies. At present, the global value chain status of most companies is in the avoidance range of anti-dumping barriers, and there is still a large potential for avoidance.
