As a very important link in logistics management,inventory management plays a vital role in the production activities of enterprises.The special nature of inventory control is directly related to the scheduled implementation of production plans,product quality control and customer delivery assurance.How to effectively reduce inventory,reduce the large amount of inventory capital occupation,to achieve lean production,is the current production enterprises need to optimize the problem.In view of the diversified customer demand,large amount of inventory occupying working capital,and inaccurate timely delivery problems encountered by A machinery company,this paper studies from the perspective of optimizing inventory of A machinery manufacturing company:On the one hand,it analyzes the optimization of inventory cost from the perspective of ordering.On the other hand,research is carried out based on storage of goods to reduce storage cost.Based on its inventory management optimization control problem of bridge box workshop,first points internal and external analysis of two dimensions,bridge box workshop to A machinery company in the inventory problems in production process were analyzed,and the analysis of A mechanical company bridge box workshop after the existing concrete problems,the corresponding solutions are put forward.Based on the ordering and storage activities of the actual operation of the enterprise,this paper studies and analyzes the problems of A mechanical bridge box workshop,such as lack of lean consciousness of employees,lack of effective supplier management,inaccurate demand prediction information,disordered warehouse positions and unreasonable facility layout.Based on the inventory problems discovered,this paper constructs EOQ model and JIT model respectively to find the best economic order quantity and order cycle.In terms of goods storage and transportation,ABC classification is introduced to classify goods,and SLP method is used to optimize the workshop layout,which further reduces the inventory management cost of enterprises.
