The "National Tourism Work Report 2018" points out that:"The tourism industry has enjoyed a good momentum of development in 2017,contributing 11.04%to China's comprehensive economy and contributing over 80%to related industries such as transportation,catering,and accommodation,also providing 28.25 million direct positions for the society".Benefiting from the rapid increase of tourism demand,the development of China's accommodation industry is full of vitality,and listed companies in the accommodation industry have become a new breakthrough point in the development of the tourism industry.Executives are the core members of the companies,the stable and continuous growth of corporate performance is inseparable from the management of executives.However,at this stage,the compensation of executives of listed companies in the accommodation industry is prominent,and the two levels of differentiation are serious.The compensation of executives has not been able to enhance the motivation of executives.Under this background,this paper analyzes the current situation of the compensation of executives in listed companies in the accommodation industry and explores various factors affecting the compensation of executives from the internal and external environment of the enterprise,thus built an compensation evaluation system of executives for listed companies in the accommodation industry with four first-level indicators and eighteen second-level indicators.According to the information disclosed by the listed companies,this paper collects relevant data of 4 accommodation companies,obtains the comprehensive rankings of the compensation system of executives of the 4 companies.It analyzes the reasons for the problems of the company's compensation system shown in the rating process,accordingly puts forward suggestions for improving the compensation system,so as to help the companies to establish a reasonable compensation system to maximize the operating benefits at the lowest cost.This paper analyzes the ranking of the executive compensation system of four listed companies including Jinjiang Inn,Beijing Tourism Group,Huatian Hotel and Jinling Hotel by setting up a compensation evaluation system of executives.Finally,it analyzed the compensation system of Huatian Hotel,which ranked lower,put forward targeted suggestions.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.The overall development of the accommodation industry is gradually heating up,while there is still a large gap between the compensation levels of executives in various enterprises in the industry.The compensation payment efficiency of executives and the profit margin of labor costs are lower than the average level of the entire industry.2.The author inspects the compensation systems of executives in four listed companies in the accommodation industry.He finds that the development of the compensation system of the four listed companies in the accommodation industry is immature,and there are different problems in the compensation systems of various companies.Moreover,it also analyzes the development status of compensation of executives in Huatian Hotel.Huatian Hotel's poor operating performance in recent years has resulted in low levels of compensation of executives,insufficient short-term incentives,lack of long-term incentives,lack of competitiveness in compensation.Enterprises should take market as orientation,actively seek cooperation with new technologies and rising industries,take full advantage of the preferential policies given by the state,as well as implementing appropriate long-term incentive plans.They should improve the compensation supervision system and set up compensation committees to ensure the fairness and effectiveness of compensation of executives.
