The Countermeasure Research Of Manzhouli Port’s Foreign Trade Development

Border trade has great significance to the foreign trade development and the economic and social development for the ethnic minority border regions.Bordering with Russia and Mongolia,Manzhouli Port is located in the northeastern part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China.Serving as China’s largest inland trade port,Manzhouli has always been the the vital transportation site of the Asia-Europe continental bridge,the vanguard of opening up in frontier regions,the significant comprehensive hub of major Eurasian highways and an important economic growing center along the frontier regions.As one of the first batch of frontier cities in China,Manzhouli Port has gained great achievements through more than thirty years’development,becoming the typical representative model for the ethnic minority border regions.This thesis studies Manzhouli Port’s foreign trade,discusses the regional advantages of Manzhouli Port,indicates the current characters of development tendency,the passage efficiency and the running condition of Manzhouli Port’s foreign trade,analyses the superiority conditions and the present problems of Manzhouli Port’s foreign trade,and points out the domestic and foreign countermeasure of Manzhouli Port’s in the future,aiming to provide guidance and reference for the border region ports’ economic development.
