Research On The Evaluation Of Service Industry Competitiveness In Gansu Province

With China's economic development entering the new normal,structural adjustment has become the main theme of economic development.Service industry has gradually risen to the leading industry of China's economic development instead of manufacturing industry.Therefore,promoting the development of service industry and realizing the qualitative leap of economic development is an important topic of social research today.Although the service industry in Gansu Province has made rapid development,but the development of service industry in Gansu Province is still facing problems such as the overall low level of development,the unbalanced development of service industry segmentation industry,and the wide gap between regions.Especially the development of modern service industry lags behind,and the traditional service industry still occupies an absolute dominant position.Therefore,to promote the development of service industry and enhance the competitiveness level of service industry has become a major problem for Gansu Province to achieve high-quality economic development.According to the index system selected in the latest literature,this paper further eliminated and screened it in order to establish a more perfect index evaluation system close to the real competitiveness.Firstly,the entropy method was used to comprehensively measure the scores of service industry competitiveness of 12 western provinces,cities andautonomous regions,including Gansu Province.It was found that the scores of service industry competitiveness in Gansu Province were basically ranked It is located in the middle and lower reaches of the western region;secondly,it analyzes the structure effect and competitiveness effect of the 14 sub sectors of service industry in Gansu Province.Compared with the western region,the traditional service industry represented by transportation,storage and postal industry has lost its original competitiveness,while the modern service industry represented by the financial industry,information transmission,software and information technology service industry is ending Finally,according to the results of empirical analysis,we can further determine the reasonable direction of Gansu Province's future economic development and the future adjustment direction of industrial structure,and put forward relevant policy recommendations for the actual development of Gansu Province's service industry.
