Research On The Innovation And Development Strategy Of Commercial Banks’ Gold Business In The New Regulatory Environment

On December 14,2018,the Central Bank issued three documents: "Notice on Matters Related to the Management of Gold Assets","Interim Measures for the Management of Internet Gold Businesses of Financial Institutions" and "Interim Measures for the Management of Gold Accumulation Businesses".,Ending the gap in the supervision of the innovative business of the gold market in recent years and establishing the basic rules for the supervision of the gold market in the new period.At the same time,after ten years of rapid development of domestic commercial banks’ gold business,coupled with the impact of the domestic macroeconomic situation,most of them are currently in a bottleneck period,and the product system and development model are facing restructuring.Based on the above background,this paper uses literature research method,case analysis method,comparative analysis method and other research methods to find the bottleneck of the commercial bank’s gold business development through the analysis of the domestic commercial bank’s gold business status and new regulatory policies.Development experience,put forward targeted solutions,and discuss the development strategy of commercial banks’ gold business under the Internet era and new regulatory conditions.According to this idea,this article starts from the theoretical research results at home and abroad,and starts with the operating conditions of domestic commercial banks in recent years.It comprehensively analyzes the factors that restrict the development of gold business and summarizes the domestic banks ’management mechanisms and product systems.,Service channels,talent teams,etc.Finally,according to the operating characteristics of different banks,this paper puts forward specific strategies for the innovative development of different types of commercial banks in the development of gold business.The research on this subject has practical guiding significance for domestic commercial banks to further optimize the gold business development model,and also has certain reference value for commercial banks to explore new business models in the Internet era.
