With the rapid development of Internet and tourism,the Internet has become an important channel for people to search for tourism information.When people search information through Internet there will be traces of retrieval on the network,which can create “network attention”.The Silk Road Economic Belt was first put forward by President Xi Jinping in September 2013.From then on,the development along the Silk Road Economic Belt has attracted wide attention.As a comprehensive industry with social and economic benefits,tourism plays an important role in economic development,social progress and regional cultural exchange along the Silk Road Economic Belt.5A class tourist attraction is the highest level tourist attraction assessed by the state and the name card of regional tourism development,which reflects the level of regional tourism development to a certain extent.This paper studies the network attention to 5A class tourist attractions in nine provinces along the Silk Road Economic Belt based on Baidu Index.The study collects the average daily search index of each tourist attraction per month in 2018 through Baidu Index platform,and then try to analyze the inter-month fluctuation and seasonal concentration degree of the network attention of tourist attractions;and collect the daily network attention before and after holidays to study its fluctuation characteristics and growth.Using the GIS spatial analysis method,the network attention of tourist attractions is visualized on the map.Standard Deviational Ellipse is used to analyze the distribution trend of network attention to 5A class tourist attractions along the Silk Road Economic Belt,Kernel Density Estimation is used to analyze the distribution density,and discuss the hierarchical distribution of network attention of tourist attractions.Then using the daily average search index from 31 provinces in 2018,this paper analyze the spatial distribution pattern,regional differences and distribution concentration of the network attention to tourist attractions.Based on the analysis of temporal and spatial distribution of network attention to 5A class tourist attractions in nine provinces along the Silk Road Economic Belt,this paper uses statistical analysis,comparative analysis and other methods to explore the influencing factors.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)the monthly distribution of network attention to 5A class tourist attractions is uneven,showing a variety of characteristics.There are differences between the north and the south in the light and peak seasons of the network attention of the tourist attractions,and there are various peak types in the monthly distribution.The monthly distribution are mainly affected by the climate comfort and holiday distribution.The seasonal concentration of the network attention has obvious differences between provinces,which are mainly affected by the climate factors.(2)There are differences in the change of network attention to tourist attractions in holiday between provinces and different holidays.During the Labor Day holiday,the network attention of tourist attractions in Shaanxi,Sichuan,Ningxia and Chongqing increased significantly,and during the National Day holiday,except Xinjiang,the network attention of tourist attractions in each province increased significantly.The peak of network attention is mainly on the first day and the second day of the Labor Day holiday,while is mainly on the second day and the third day of the holiday on the National Day holiday,instead of the premonitory effect of a peak on the eve of the holiday.In terms of the growth range of network attention during the holiday,the increase of the National Day holiday is obviously greater than that of the Labor Day holiday,and the growth rate of different tourist attractions is related to the distance from the tourist market and the attention paid to the tourist attractions.(3)The network attention to tourist attractions tends to be decentralized and the spatial distribution is unbalanced.In the past five years,the distribution center of network attention of 5A class tourist attractions along the Silk Road Economic Belt has shifted to the northwest slightly,and the degree of dispersion has increased;the network attention of tourist attractions has formed two cores: Xi'an and central Sichuan;there are regional and quantitative differences in tourist attractions with different attention levels;the grade of tourism resources and the number of media coverage are the main influence factors.(4)There are regional differences in the distribution of network attention of tourist attractions.Sichuan,Guangdong and Shaanxi are the first-class tourist market of 5A class tourist attractions;the regional differences in the distribution of network attention mainly come from the regional differences;the number of netizens,the spatial distance and the per capita disposable income are the network attention of 5A class tourist attractions along the Silk Road Economic Belt The main influence factors of national distribution.According to the research results,some suggestions are put forward for the development of tourist attractions:(1)Pay attention to the seasonality of network attention and adopt differential marketing.(2)Use the early warning function of network attention to strengthen the peak management of tourist attractions.(3)Promote the regional cooperation and differential development of tourist attractions and improve the popularity of tourist attractions.(4)Clarify the distribution of tourist market and promote it accurately.(5)According to the situation of the tourist attractions,select the reasonable development strategy.
