The Influence Of FDI On Economic Growth Of Anhui Province

In recent years,foreign direct investment has gradually become one of the main ways of international capital flows,which is also an important global economic force.The economy of the host country was profoundly affected by FDI.The growth of FDI scale has changed from high speed to medium high speed;In Anhui province,foreign investment is mostly concentrated in the second industry,but foreign investment in the third industry has increased rapidly in recent years;The source of FDI in Anhui province is also gradually changing.Investment from Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan has decreased,and investment from the United States and Canada has gradually increased.Firstly,this paper makes an empirical study on the overall impact of FDI on economic growth in Anhui Province,and then analyses the impact of FDI on economic growth through two ways:technology spillover effect and capital formation effect.Through the analysis of the overall impact of FDI on economic growth in Anhui Province,it is concluded that FDI promotes economic growth in Anhui Province,and there are differences between cities and regions.Among them,FDI in Hefei and Ma'anshan contributes more to economic growth,while FDI in Huangshan contributes less to economic growth,mainly because of different regions.It is concluded that FDI inflow not only promotes the growth of domestic investment in Anhui Province,but also produces corresponding crowding-in effect on domestic investment in Anhui Province,which is complementary to domestic investment in Anhui Province.The empirical analysis of FDI technology spillover effect shows that:the spillover coefficient of FDI is 0.046,that is to say,every 1%increase of FDI in Anhui Province promotes the total factor productivity increase of Anhui Province by 0.046%.It shows that FDI in Anhui Province has a positive technology spillover effect,and it can also be seen that the technology spillover effect of FDI is still very significant.Up the space.It also puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the role of FDI in the economic growth of Anhui Province:to improve the quality of attracting investment;to reserve more high-quality talents;and to further improve the technical level of domestic enterprises.
