At a time when the world economy is highly integrated,the market is changing rapidly,and the competitive pressure of enterprises is increasing geometrically.ERP software can help enterprises to improve their management level and improve their own competitiveness.The demand for ERP is increasing rapidly,and the ERP consulting industry is developing rapidly under this background.Company L is a well-known domestic ERP consulting service provider,with the capability to supply both software and hardware products and consulting services with a business volume developing at a relatively high growth rate every year.However,when the company's technology,software performance,and hardware quality are among the best in the industry,due to the backwardness of the ERP consulting workflow system,it has been unable to adapt to the changing market environment,which resulting in a low process efficiency,and a long capital recovery cycle,as well as problems like poor communication between departments and backward management mode.This has led to business losses,inability to deliver projects on time,and reduced customer satisfaction.Therefore,by optimizing the company's ERP consulting business process,designing a set of reasonable business process system in order to solve the company's current dilemma has important research significance.Basing on the relevant theories of business process optimization(BPI),this paper first investigates and analyzes the current status of L company's ERP consulting business process management.By establishing the company's value chain model,it analyzes the understanding defects of L company's ERP consulting business at the level of value chain.According to the interviews with the company's leaders and the survey results of the current status of business processes,tools such as flowcharts and cause-effect diagrams are used to comb and analyze the core business processes in details.Secondly,this paper systematically optimized the design of L company's ERP consulting business process system.On the basis of determining the goal of process optimization,a framework for ERP consulting business process optimization was constructed.After that,according to ASME analysis,the value-added activities and non-value-added activities in the process were determined,and accordingly,the detailed design of the optimization plan for the four modules of pre-sale,development,implementation and after-sale in the business process system was founded.Finally,basing on the analysis of the number of events in the process and the time cost of the process,the design effect of the business process optimization was analyzed,and it was found that the number of events and time cost of each business process in the optimization scheme were reduced.After the implementation of concurrent system,in theory the project's lead time was also shortened by 47.8%.At the same time,relevant suggestions for organizational structure adjustment and organizational cultural system construction were given as measures to ensure the optimization of business processes.At present,there are few studies on the application of business process optimization theory in the ERP consulting industry.In this paper,through the investigation and analysis of the current status of the L company's ERP consulting business process,the detailed optimization design of the pre-sales,development,implementation,and after-sale business processes were constructed to buildup the L company's ERP business process system.While solving the problem of L company's ERP consulting business process,it also provides reference value for the process optimization of the same type of enterprises.
