In recent years, the global economic and social situation has become increasingly complex, and the domestic supply side structural reform has entered the deep water area. The global macro-economy has achieved a new state of balance, and emerging economies have emerged to provide new vitality for the global economy. However,at present, the economic recovery is slow, and major economies have introduced monetary easing, which has led to asset prices rising and the polarization between the rich and the poor intensified. The domestic economy is facing a shift period. The release of large amount of capital liquidity in the early stage may lead to serious distortion of China's economic structure, serious overcapacity, high leverage of enterprises, difficult balance of local finance and other risks. As the economy changes from high-speed development to high-quality development, new economic growth points need to be found.Promoting the real economy has become the focus of economic work.Small and medium-sized banks provide an important driving force for the development of the real economy, which is of great significance to the economic and social development of our country. The rapid development of domestic financial market has provided good conditions for the development of small and medium-sized commercial banks.Small and medium-sized commercial banks have gradually become the backbone of China's economic structure.Their operating system has become increasingly perfect, the degree of marketization has been increasing, and the recognition in the hearts of residents has been increasing. They have been expanding themselves and providing flexible financial support for social and economic construction. But small and medium-sized banks also face many difficulties in the rapid development. In the past year, small and medium-sized banks have been exposed to risks one after another, and the frequent occurrence of crises has aroused market concerns about the development prospects of small and medium-sized commercial banks. The future development and risk response of small and medium-sized banks immediatelybecome the focus of attention.Equity structure is an important part of bank internal governance, which has an important impact on the risk-taking behavior of commercial banks. Many small and medium-sized banks have poor anti risk ability and limited risk control ability due to the imperfect equity governance structure, which will easily lead to serious credit crisis once challenged. In this context,it is of great practical significance to study how the ownership structure affects the risk-taking of small and medium-sized banks in order to stabilize our financial system and prevent and resolve financial risks. In view of this, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the relationship between equity structure and risk bearing of small and medium-sized banks in China.Based on the systematic review of domestic and foreign research on equity structure and bank risk, the paper selects 22 small and medium-sized banks with relatively complete data disclosure in 2010-2018 balance panel data to establish a multiple linear regression model for empirical analysis. The results show that the ownership structure has a significant impact on the risk-taking of small and medium-sized banks. In the equity concentration index, the sum of the first, top five and top ten shareholders' shareholding ratios is positively related to the risk-taking of small and medium-sized banks;in the equity balance index, the ratio of the second largest shareholder's shareholding ratio to the first largest shareholder's shareholding ratio, the ratio of the second to fifth largest shareholder's shareholding ratio to the first largest shareholder's shareholding ratio are negatively related to the risk-taking of small and medium-sized banks;in terms of equity attribute Small and medium-sized commercial banks with state-owned shares as the largest shareholder have less risk. Finally,on this basis,it puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.Small and medium-sized commercial banks should comprehensively grasp the future development situation from macro and micro aspects,so as to adjust the ownership structure, improve the self-management system, improve the risk management ability and realize the transformation and growth of small and medium-sized banks.Small and medium-sized banks should form the equity structure of "relative concentration, multi share check and balance",optimize the allocation of state-owned shares, thus forming a perfect and effective equity governancemechanism,so as to promote the steady development of small and medium-sized banks in the fierce market competition. The government should also accelerate the listing of small and medium-sized banks, improve their equity governance structure with the help of market forces, establish a sound regulatory system and market mechanism to prevent the risk accumulation of small and medium-sized banks, and form a sound socialist banking system.
