Research On PMO-Based Organizational Project Management Of W Company Operating Center

With the continuous development and expansion of W Company and its CDN business operation center,there are more and more problems such as poor process effectiveness,low collaboration efficiency,insufficient personnel capacity and low morale.The main reasons for these problems are improper assignment of responsibilities,lack of sufficient project management processes and norms,and excessive dependence on personal ability and experienceThe research goal is to establish an effective framework for organizational project management of the operation center based on PMO.Using the methods of literature research and case study,this research mainly uses PMO-based matrix organizational structure,three stages of PMO,K-PMMM model and other related theories of project management.According to the relevant theoretical and practical analysis,this research proposes to establish a matrix organizational structure based on PMO,establish a single project life cycle process from proposal to post-evaluation,and put forward optimization schemes for process monitoring,change control,personnel training and other project management processes.In order to make the project management system more effective,the construction requirements of the information platform are planned in detail.Finally,referring to the K-PMMM model,the optimization schemes are implemented into the responsibilities of PMO in three stages of development in the short,medium and long term,and the construction and design plan of the project management system at the organizational level is formulatedThis dissertation provides a reference scheme for W Company CDN business operation center to solve project management problems,establish sustainable development project management environment and enhance core competitiveness.At the same time,the solution proposed in this dissertation also has inspiration for other enterprises in the same industry.
