The S Auto-ID Equipment Company(call it S Company in the following)is a newly founded Chinese local company whose products mainly serve the automatic identification and data collection market,including all kinds of barcode scanning devices,label printing devices,and other intelligent identification devices.As a technology driven newly started company,S company achieved certain results,however,the problems like "unsatisfied development speed" and“low market recognition of the brand”have gradually emerged.How will S Company solve the problems and let the company develop on a rapid growth track?A suitable corporate development strategy is becoming more and more important.Based on the study of innovation and development strategy theories,this article analyzed the company's internal and external environmental factors,used the strategic management tools Porter's five-force model and SWOT analysis matrix and found out the company's competitive advantages on people and R&D technologies and disadvantages on supplier chain and marketing,identified lots of developing opportunities and used QSPM tool to select top 4 opportunities which belong to new product developing and market developing,then made the specific strategic develop plan on new product developing and market developing for the company.It is hoped that through the research and analysis of this article,it will provide suggestions for the development strategy of S Company,and contribute to change the company into rapid growth track.
